To know thyself is to love thyself. And what's more lovable than GetWhys?

This week: GetWhys learned to explain itself, the scratchpad got a lot more ergonomic, and PowerPoint finally got the invite!

Here's the rundown:

Ask GetWhys for help using GetWhys. GetWhys is really taking the Delphic maxim Know Thyself to heart. đŸ”źâ€ïž This was one of the most requested things from users. You can ask how-to questions like "how do I set up a persona" or "what is a brand voice" and chat can just answer, pulling straight from our own knowledge base. No more digging through help articles or pinging your GetWhys contact for the basics.

Select text in your scratchpad, get a fix — not a full rewrite. You can now highlight just the part of your draft that needs work and refine it in place, instead of re-running feedback on the whole doc every time you tweak a sentence. This means faster edits, and less re-reading feedback you already addressed.

PowerPoint (and a lot more) is welcome in chat now. Drop in a deck, not just a doc, and get it validated. PowerPoint support is live, with a long list of other file types supported too. It's worth a look if you've been sticking to docs out of habit rather than by choice.

Turn feedback in scratchpad on when you want it, off when you don't. A new toggle lets you draft freely without a card popping up on every sentence, then flip it back on when you're ready to validate. Plus a loading indicator on the feedback tab, so you know it's working instead of wondering if it froze.

Click a feedback card, get the actual fix. Cards in your scratchpad now suggest the change directly, so no more translating "this doesn't match your brand voice" into what to actually type instead.

@persona in chat now follows you into the scratchpad. Tag a persona in chat and it carries straight over when you move into drafting. One less thing to re-select, one less place your context can drift.

Now that you've read this far, here's a reminder to go call your mom.

The GetWhys you know just got bigger, better, and a lot more everywhere

We've got a whole bushel of things we've been sitting on announcing as we've been making final preparations for the launch of several new key pieces of GetWhys — and this week, we've finally opened the barn doors. Brace yourself, cause this launch is a real barn burner. 🎉

Short version: GetWhys is now the always-on layer that validates everything your team ships, wherever they ship it.

Here's what that looks like in practice:

GetWhys just went undercover in every tool you use. Wherever your team already works and creates GTM content (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot), GetWhys now plugs in via MCP. You get all the goodness of the insights within the GetWhys buyer intelligence database infused into every piece of content you or your team generates, keeping you one step closer to your buyers than anyone else.

A scratchpad for testing anything and everything GTM related. The new scratchpad functionality for editing content is the fastest way to feel what GetWhys does. Drop in a headline, a pitch, or a campaign brief, and get instant, cited feedback on how it'll land with a specific persona, whether it holds up against your buyer data, and whether it sounds like you. It checks claims, persona resonance, brand voice, lets you edit by just chatting with it, autosaves as you go, and keeps version history so you can always backtrack. Draft, check, revise, repeat.

GetWhys has entered the (Slack) chat. Say hello to the Slackbot! Ask a buyer question, validate a message, or grab a quick citation without leaving your Slack channel. For sales teams especially, it's one place to ask instead of five tools to check.

Your call recordings go into GetWhys. GetWhys now connects to your call recorder (yes, including Gong), pulling prospect and customer conversations straight into the validation layer. Your calls tell you what happened in your last hundred deals. GetWhys tells you why it should matter (and what it means for your next thousand.)

Proof, finally. The MCP Usage Dashboard gives workspace owners a real look at ROI: content improved, score lift, which personas and frameworks are driving the most impact, and adoption broken out by tool. For the first time, the person who built the intelligence layer can prove it's being used for something useful.

A fresh coat of paint, top to bottom, T to B. New styles on the chat box, a cleaner sidebar with new icons, and even creating an Artifact got a little facelift. 🩋

That's a lot to ship in just one week. Reach out to us with any and all questions.

More soon. đŸŒ±

Smoother for users from day one. And tighter behind the scenes.

Easier access to seat management. When viewing your subscription, you can now see a direct contact link to manage your seats. No more digging around trying to figure out who to talk to when you need to add or remove users. Faster access = faster decisions and impact.

New users get a proper welcome. When someone fills out the onboarding form, a Slack message now automatically fires to your internal team. No more manually tracking who's coming onboard or following up to make sure new users are set up and ready to go. Your team knows the moment someone's in.

Analyst reports now work as research reports in BYOD. If your team works with analyst reports like Gartner, Forrester, or IDC, you can now bring them into GetWhys as research reports. That means your buyer intelligence isn't just grounded in what your buyers and customers say, but in what the broader market is telling you too.

Strike the Gong. Plus, easier ways to work with artifacts.

Already have Gong calls? Put them to work. If you've got a library of customer calls sitting in Gong, you no longer have to start from scratch. You can now backfill calls directly using a list of IDs and give GetWhys the full context of your customer conversations. More calls in means richer insights, sharper messaging, and buyer intelligence that actually reflects your pipeline.

See all your Artifacts in one place. You spent time building a competitive brief, a messaging framework, or a persona last week. Now you can actually find it without scrolling through five different conversations to track it down. All your drafted Artifacts are now visible across conversations in one place, so your best work stays accessible and actually gets used.

Download your Artifacts and take them anywhere. Built something great in GetWhys? Now you can download it straight from the Artifact details page and drop it into a deck, a doc, or a stakeholder email. Your insights shouldn't live only inside GetWhys, and now they don't have to!

Go grab a coffee. We'll holler when it's ready.

GetWhys will keep you posted, even when it's thinking extra hard. When a response is going to take longer than usual, GetWhys will let you know upfront, and you can now opt in to get notified when it's done. Go grab a coffee. No more tab-watching, no more wondering if something broke. It's just reasoning through something complex on your behalf.
