Meet GetWhys

Every company wants to better understand their customers. Many use AI products to blend internet data (e.g., customer reviews) with their internal data (e.g., call recordings).

But our customers have a deeper understanding of theirs because they use GetWhys to fill in the gaps.

Companies like Docusign, Intel, and Verizon love using GetWhys to understand and create for their customers because our unique dataset lets GetWhys produce higher-quality research & creation output than anybody else.

Who We Are


Two of our cofounders are decade+ B2B market research consultants (working for hyperscalers & emerging startups); the third has built enterprise software as an IC and engineering leader at Level, AppNexus, Microsoft. The three of them met in college (2011) and have worked closely together for over a decade.

Today, our team is distributed across four of America’s best cities.


Boise, ID

Our GTM team is (mostly) based in Boise.

Boise has hundreds of miles of trails directly accessible from downtown, a world-class music scene, and access to the largest wilderness area in the United States outside of Alaska.


Bozeman, MT

Our Product team is (mostly) based in Bozeman.


Bozeman is surrounded by world-class mountains for skiing, an incredible food scene, and most kinds of outdoor recreation that don’t involve the ocean.


Portland, OR

Much of our Engineering team is based in Portland.


The dream of the 90s is alive in Portland. Additionally, Portland’s food and art scenes are incredible. The wilderness access is unparalleled, with the exception of places like Bozeman and Boise (someone in one of those cities wrote this).


NYC, NY

Much of our Engineering team is based in NYC.

NYC has a really great subway system, as well as wonderful tourist attractions like the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, etc.
