When we first started selling GetWhys in 2023, we sold the concept of instant access to buyer insights.
On one hand... it was really cool. It was the first time that our customers could ask questions and get answers, immediately. I was going around telling them something like this:
In an ideal world, before you built, created, or said anything, you'd:
- pause time
- run a focus group with your target audience on the thing you planned to do
- use that information to do better work
Functionally, I was going around selling the B2B version of the Adam Sandler movie Click.
It took us a couple years of tinkering and building, but sometime in 2025, once our dataset hit a certain size, usage took off, and revenue along with it. Every week, we're onboarding wonderful users at high-performing organizations. It's been a blast to see things take-off.
But the instant research I promised our customers still relied on them interrupting their workflow. If they wanted to run that focus group, they still had to take a few seconds to pop to GetWhys and engage with the buyer insights we'd gathered.
That felt suboptimal.
Also... a lot of them were using Claude, ChatGPT, internally-built AI tools, purpose-built AI tools, pseudo-AI tools, etc. Many of our customers use several of those tools in parallel; different tabs in the same browser. ("I use Gemini for ___, and Claude for ____, and our own tool for ____, Highspot for ____, Glean for ____").
We're a company full of deeply competitive people. While I would love for GetWhys to be the only browser tab anyone ever had open, that didn't feel like the best or most realistic way to serve our customers.
The truth is that most of our colleagues aren't research-minded. Some people just want to sell; to create; to build. Some of our colleagues aren't even people anymore—they're agents, writing with em dashes and making confident guesses at lightning pace, burning tokens like they're freezing.
So... we've spent the past few months actually building instant research. Today, we're publicly launching the ability for you to enrich your work with buyer insights, without you needing to break out of your workflow. You can see that in:
- our first party tools, like our new text editor! There are a lot of text editors out there, but none quite like this. It will tell you how people will react to what you're writing while you write it, and helps you improve it.
- our integrations with third party tools. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, CoPilot, and just about every AI vendor you can name. The work your organization does with your preferred AI tool, automatically enriched with buyer insight.

Our customers can now deliver the benefits of instant research across their organizations without needing to make anyone build the habit of research. Your colleagues in sales can now tell Claude to write a proposal, and GetWhys will improve the proposal generated in Claude, without the seller ever knowing. Every person and agent can do their job, enriched with buyer insights.
If you aren't a customer of ours, you should be. Come see the difference.
Philippe
PS:
- My cofounders would like me to point out that it isn't technically instant. Nothing is instant. Everything takes seconds or milliseconds. I think they're being pedantic, but oh well.
- It's all at a flat fee. We don't have a consumption / usage based model.
- Every insight is still cited back to real interviews we conducted with real people. We still don't charge our customers more for research, and we still guarantee a 10 day turnaround.
